1. Boost your confidence level
Confidence is the first quality that any professional persists. The best way to boost your confidence level is by thinking positively and kicking all the negative thoughts out. Defeating your enemy and winning both the small and the biggest battles of life. It will make you believe in yourself, which is the major factor in learning to be confident. Be confident about what you do and don’t ever doubt yourself nor your work. And yeah once you starting taking the stairs towards success, don’t take this happiness on your mind, hence forgetting everything.
2. Work on your writing skills
Since my first article on blogging to this article, I have been telling you guys to focus on your writing skills, because that’s the basic concept of blogging. Everyone can write but your ability to communicate with the audience through your writing adds up to your professionalism. To make it more conversational use “I” instead of “we”.
You are not compelled to post it as soon as you are done with the writing, what happens is that when you write and read it again and again at the same time, you find it exactly the same and are not able to find your mistakes. So, it is advised to draft it for later, edit it and then post it.
3. Purchase your own domain name
Working on a free blogging platform or writing for others will never make you a professional unless you will work on your own blog. Because a person always chooses the best and do the best for himself. So, it will be beneficial for you if you purchase your own domain name and works on it. A unique domain name will make it easy for the audience to remember your name. The domain name should not be tricky, neither it should be away from the topic. Choose the domain name in such a way that it gives a quick idea to the reader about the topic or about what it deals with. You can purchase a domain name from GoDaddy or BlueHost.
If you have started blogging to earn money, you may as well indulge in domain trading. To know more refer, “How to earn money through domain trading?”
4. Think from a reader’s point of view
Even the teacher was once a student. You all must have read this quote somewhere, well it’s a true fact. The same way even a blogger was once a reader, though he is even today. Think about what all things you would like to read in the article for that particular keyword search. Do give credits to others, your audience, your friends for your success. That’s the quality of a good blogger. “Before learning to be professional, you should learn to be good.” This was the advice my mentor gave me once.
5. Know the value of time and teamwork
If you don’t value time, why would time will? Time is like sand, it never stays in anyone’s hand. You should learn to value your time. Don’t postpone your work for tomorrow, if possible complete it today when you have time. Don’t think that you are an all-rounder and you will be able to do each and everything. No one is an all-rounder, and managing everything alone will make you sick and frustrated at the same time. You can appoint others to help you with your work. If you find someone from your family or friend circle, take help from them else you can also look for virtual assistants and freelancers at affordable rates.
6. Work while you still have a brain
Just kidding! Don’t get offended with my heading. I was just adding a little bit of fun in between your boring reading. You definitely know that smart work is better than hard work, and I think it’s time to apply this saying practically. You definitely work very hard and not getting the desired result, but your smart work will definitely take you to success.
What most of the bloggers do is, they keep on posting articles daily, without spending time in promoting their work, which will do no good in their blogging career. Writing is no doubt important and a hard-working task, but promoting your blog, doing the correct SEO regularly is the actual task which is referred to as the smart work.
7. Post every day
Take your blog as a regular job that you can’t quit at any cost. As a beginner, it will take time to gain popularity and traffic. For this, you need to work very hard. Keep uploading content daily. Content should be unique and rich in information. Without daily content, no one will come to know about your blog nor it will gain good rank. If you have time write more than one or two posts in a day, save them as drafts and you can upload them when you are caught up with some other work. But don’t break the regularity of posting articles.
8. Check if your posts are readable
All kind of people reads your articles. Not everyone has got good reading and understanding skills. Some might be there whose vocabulary is not too much enhanced. Write your articles considering that people can easily digest it. Work on the headings as well. Not just your content but the headings are equally important. Keep a heading such that the reader gets the idea of what is there in the article. Heading should be catchy so that it can attract a maximum number of people.
To make it look good and increase its readability you can make use of bullets and numbers. Keep one more thing in mind that you don’t write long paragraphs, hence making it boring. in addition to it, keep the font size and font color readable.
9. Add relatable pictures
Have you ever liked those course books that hardly had any images, just the information? I know you didn’t because I myself hated such books. Then why do you think your audience will read your article without having any attractive picture. I hope you guys understood what I was trying to convey. Add relatable pictures with your article, pictures add life to the dead article too.

Neither by mistake nor by choice, don’t copy the content from anyone’s blog. Create unique content, your blog is your own. Create something that is completely different from others. Yes, you can take help from other blogs. But just the help, write however the way you want to. A masterpiece is created only when you work with your heart.
